What makes "Prime Sonic Space" different from other IR collection's, is the vitality and depth captured.
Many Impulse Responses sound good alone but when used in a mix they seem to loose something.
This is due to several issues:
1. Very often, the Impulse Response is made simply to capture the characteristics of the room, not taking into consideration how a particular instrument might sound best in that space.
2. While an Impulse Response may sound good alone, it may not mix well due to compression that occurs in the process. We have made sure that "Prime Sonic Space" IRs remains vital and musical.
3. Only factory presets are used when making Impulse Responses for hardware.
(We believe that while factory presets can be OK, custom presets can often be the preferable option.)
4. Many Impulse Response libraries are limited to 16 bit. Lets face it, 16 bit libraries will not compare to 24 and 32 bit resolutions."Prime Sonic Space" is done entirely in 24-32 bit.

We have been designing presets for a very longtime.
In fact Zak is responsible for the worlds first completely sampled recording.
This production is part of the Smithsonian permanent collection. Stevie Wonder was kind enough to loan his Synclavier which was used for all the sampling.
Zak has worked doing engineering and production for well over 1000 musicians, several recording labels and worked designing sounds for nearly 3 decades.
